World Youth Day 2013 – information |

Place: Rio de Janeiro, July 23-28, 2013
Theme: "Go and make disciples of all peoples" (Matthew 28:19)
Logo: The main colors of the Logo are green, blue and yellow the same as the Brazilian flag and the elements have a meaning, the heart is the heart of the disciple the, green on the top is the Pão de Açucar the mount where the Christ the Redeemer stands. The white cross is the WYD Cross, in yellow we can see the iconic Christ the Redeemer and the blue means the sea coast of Rio de Janeiro.
The Logo was designed by Gustavo Huguenin, a 25 years old from Brazil.

La Rencontre internationale de la JeFra aura lieu dans la ville de Săo Joăo del Rey du 19 au 22 juillet 2013. Après notre rencontre nous nous joindrons à la célébration des JMJ du 23 au 28 juillet 2013.

El XV Congreso Nacional Electivo de la Juventud Franciscana de Brasil, en la ciudad de Santa Maria (RS), elegido como Secretario Ingrid maranhense Mayara Fraternal Nacional para el trienio 2013-2016. Mayara nace en la ciudad de Poções de Pedra (MA), pero reside actualmente en la ciudad de Uberlândia (MG), donde estudia doctorado en Genética y Bioquímica de la Universidad Federal de Uberlândia. En su hoja de vida, fue subsecretario del Área Noreste A y doméstico (2007-2010) de la Subsecretaría Nacional de Educación (2010-2013). Profesa la Fraternidad de la Orden Franciscana Seglar en la ciudad de Uberlândia.

III CENTRAL AMERICAN YOUFRA MEETING 2013
On January 11-12-13, 2013, in Managua, Nicaragua, took place the 3rd Meeting of Central American YouFra. The 95 participants from Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Dominican Republic, joined under the slogan Living faith Youfrans straight to find with Lord, perfect joy.

50TH ANNIVERSARY OF YOUFRA COSTA RICA
On Sunday the 9th of September of 2012, in the Convent of the Capuchin Friars Minor in Cartago, the national fraternity of YouFra Costa Rica got together to celebrate its 50 years of presence in our country. The 2nd of August of 1962 was chosen as the symbolic date, because in that year, the first fraternity of brothers started walking this path in Cartago, hand by hand with the Capuchin Friars Minor.

The celebration of the 50th anniversary of YouFra Venezuela
Joy, happiness and enthusiasm overflowed in the 35th National Meeting of the Venezuela Franciscan Youth (YouFra), in which many young men and women from the different regions of this country got together in "San Antonio de Los Altos", state of Miranda, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of YouFra in our national territory.

BOSNIE-HERZEGOVINE – 20E ANNIVERSAIRE DE LA JEFRA ET 1ERE RENCONTRE NATIONALE JEFRA
La fraternité nationale de la JeFra en Bosnie-Herzégovine a célébré son 20e anniversaire. La fête a eu lieu à Humac (Ljubuški) du 29 juin au 1er juillet 2012. C'était également la première rencontre nationale de la JeFra en Bosnie-Herzégovine. Plus de 650 jeunes Franciscains de 54 fraternités locales sont venus, ainsi que leurs assistants spirituels. Fr Ivan Matić (Assistant Spirituel Général de l'OFS et de la JeFra) et Ana Fruk (Coordinatrice Internationale de la JeFra), ainsi que des membres de la Fraternité nationale croate nous ont rejoints dans cette célébration.
