Spiritual Assistants Seminar Poland – Nov. 20-22 / 2006 A Seminar for Spiritual Assistants was programmed in Poland from Nov. 20 through 22, 2006. Same took place at the historical city of Varsavia and 50 Regional and local Spiritual Assistants coming from Poland, Bielorussia and Ucraina participated. The Seminar was organized by SFO Poland National Minister, Joanna Berłowska and by SFO National Assistans, Bolesław Kanach, OFMCap, Alojzy Pańczak, OFM, and Marian Jarząbek OFMConv. Different lectures were given by SFO General Assistants in the following order: Fr. Michael Higgins, TOR, «SFO Documents which should be known by SFO Spiritual Assistants»; Fr. Martín Bitzer, OFMConv, «Collegiate Assistance to the SFO»; Fr. Samy Irudaya, OFMCap, «Spiritual Assistant Role within the local fraternity Council»; and Fr. Ivan Matić, OFM, «Franciscan Youth and Spiritual Assistance». Work groups, discussions and round tables were very interest and lively moments during the whole Seminary.
