The Ceremony of Welcoming the Pope at Exhibition Place

The meeting of Franciscan Youth will have two distinct parts:
1. International Meeting of YouFra delegates;
2. The participation of Franciscan Youth in the Papal Welcoming Ceremony at Exhibition Place

In everything else the official programme of the WYD is followed.

Only those delegated officially by the National Councils of the YouFra or the SFO can participate in the meeting of YouFra leaders.

We ask you to send on the names of the delegates who will be present at the meeting to the Secretariat of the CIOFS: ciofs@ciofs.org or to Br Ivan Matic', OFM, Assistant General to the SFO/YouFra: imatic@ofm.org.

The meeting will be held on Thursday 25th July 2002.
From 10.00-15.00 there will be the international meeting of those responsible for the Franciscan Youth at the Church of St.Francis, on the same day at 17.00 the participation of Franciscan Youth in the Papal Welcoming Ceremony at Exhibition Place.

It is easy to get to these places by using the Metro or bus.

Moreover, the Franciscan Fest will be held from the evening of Wednesday 24 until Friday 26 July. It is open to all young friends of St. Francis.
