ON AUGUST 4TH 2008, MOBS OF ANTI-CHRISTIAN FUNDAMENTALISTS BEGAN ONCE AGAIN TO ATTACK THE CHRISTIANS OF ORISSA. THE GOVERNMENT IS DOING LITTLE TO NOTHING TO PROTECT THESE MINORITY PEOPLE. IF THE WORLD REMAINS SILENT THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF ALL ARE AT STAKE. HELP US! DESTROYED BY FIRE: 6000 HOMES DESTROYED BY FIRE: 50 SCHOOLS, CHURCHES AND CONVENTS. IN REFUGEE CAMPS OR HIDING IN THE FOREST: 50,000 PEOPLE.

Please include in your prayers those of other faiths who are also being persecuted and killed. Heavenly Father, we pray for all our brothers and sisters in India, and throughout the world, who are suffering or dying for their faith because of hatred, intolerance and fear. In solidarity and compassion, show us how to be a voice for the voiceless, for those crying out for justice and peace. Help us to do all we can to show that we care for all our brothers and sisters.
