Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Peace and Good!
With this letter we would like to give you the latest news and details on the forthcoming International Assembly of the Franciscan Youth. Attached you will also find two documents which we kindly ask the participants to review before the Assembly.
The first is a statistical report which will enable us to update the data already available for each national Youfra fraternity with regard to its organization and the number of fraternities and members composing it. We urgently request all those fraternities that will not be able to be present at the Assembly to send all the data requested, before the date of the meeting, to: gifra@ciofs.org; it is important that we receive all these data in order to have a general overview of the situation of the Franciscan Youth throughout the world. The second document is a draft of the International Regulation of the Franciscan Youth which we would like to present for approval at the Assembly. It is, therefore, necessary that each national SFO and Youfra fraternity present their respective proposals to the Assembly or send them by email to gifra@ciofs.org. We would like to remind all the brothers and sisters of what they should bring or prepare for the Assembly: A review, or if it is the case, a proposal for the International Regulation of the Youfra. Statistical form properly filled out Ritual of the Franciscan Youth Your Youfra National Statutes A list of the vocabulary used to indicate the various offices, organs of animation and guides, and the meetings. A national flag Some earth from your country A brief festive presentation You can also bring along any articles of the Franciscan Youth to be sold (t-shirts, key rings, etc.) Each participant must also bring: Sleeping bag and/or sheets Towels and personal items Suitable clothing for the beach Work material Bible
